Problem Statements


In the early stages of the project, I participated in discussions with stakeholders primarily aimed at understanding requirements. I documented discussions that revolved around several key points, such as: How to handle accounts when users no longer maintain them; ensuring users do not miss email reminders; and how to avoid users engaging in lengthy and frequent operations when dealing with a large volume of rules (over 1000).

These discussions were summarized into several main Problem Statements:

  1. How to ensure that all users complete recertification within the specified window?
  2. How should we handle the account ownership resignations?
  3. How to ensure a smooth user experience while meeting compliance and minimizing operational risks?
  4. How to enable auditors to quickly access reports for each cycle?

“User operations are based on rule-level actions, so what we need is to clearly illustrate the hierarchical relationship between groups and rules. In your proposals, I suggest Option 3 (nested table) which provides a consistent form + review display and may not even need a separate review page.”
